So long...farewell...

My last day in Birmingham was good!  I had breakfast and then my momma and I started out to do a few last things.  We ended up going to Whistle Stop, a street festival in Irondale, and bought a few things.  We mainly just walked around and looked.  We returned home for lunch a bit later and then headed out again to see if we could find a different suitcase to replace my small one I was checking.  We went around the world (Gardendale, Hoover, Patton Creek, etc) looking for one!  No luck though; however, we discovered it wasn't worth it!!  We went to Frances' house to help set up her skype.

At home,  I finished getting things together, scrapbooked my last Pre-Fulbright things while Kimberly visited.  Her mom brought the most delicious dinner: chicken casserole, homemade mac-n-cheese, & potatoes.  It was delicious!  I scrapbooked while they were there; I had to multi-task!!!  After they left me and my momma went to wal-mart to get some snacks.  We ended up getting these compression bags to try in my suitcase as well! It was weird to leave Wal-Mart knowing that I wouldn't see one for a while!

So then we went home to try the bags, which meant unpacking one of my suitcases, and it was time for kick-off.  Packing was a nightmare and those bags ended up sucking.  My momma is taking them back!  THis was a HUGE source of stress.  However, ROLL TIDE!!! We won!

It was well after midnight before I went to bed.  I actually slept pretty well, but did not reeeeeeeally want to leave!
