Soaking wet

ERIN AND MEAGAN!  

This morning did NOT start out that great!  On the walk to work it started raining.  Then it stopped.  Then it POURED AND HAILED!!!!!!!!!!!!!  By the time I got to work my UGGS were SOAKED, my socks were damp, the front of my jeans were SOAKED....LIKE HEAVY AND SOAKED, and the bottom of my sweater was wet.  I was miserable.  I went straight to Virginia's classroom to stand by the radiator.  When she came in, she told everyone to sit.  When I turned around she had not recognized me.  I told her how wet my jeans and such were, and she suggested that I go to the lab and dry out.  She said that she had to prepare them (for some sort of tests or something...i.e. I was NOT teaching), so I could spend the time in the lab.  She wanted me to take my jeans off and put them on the radiator, but that was definitely NOT happening.  However, I did go to the lab.  I put my UGGS, jacket, and feet on the radiator.  While I was a little upset that  I had basically come to school for NOTHING because I spent the first four hours in the lab and then the only other I was in class, just sitting there.  However, this time did allow me to finally catch up on blogs!  Yay!!! I am 100% caught up!

Angelino's class was...a hot mess!  I was just there today, not teaching.  The chaos, disorder, disrespect, goofing off, train wreck that is this class some days is astonishing.  The students do not pay attention...they argue with Angelino when he threatens to do anything about their behavior.  I was just shocked as I sat and watched this!  Angelino was rather frustrated about it today too! 

So, I took the bus home, as not to risk getting rained on anymore, stopped at the grocery store to buy toilet paper, came home and ate lunch, talked to my momma briefly (she had very little sleep because she slept in my bed with my Chili Pup, who does NOT like to share the bed), and I worked on blogs some more!   I had written so much at school, but I had to add pictures! 

I was able to talk on skype with my Nicola, email with my Erin, and talked to April my love on facebook!  So, not a bad deal I'd say!  I need to set a skype date with my Meagan, Brookie, and Britt Britt (Britt, somehow we missed our last one...did we get our times mixed up??).  It also would not hurt my feelings to skype with my Tuscaloosa loves.  I worked for a while on getting all of my blogs posted and such, and eventually decided to brave the outdoors for just a bit to get some things.  Oh, I also booked my return ticket from Lecce..which I did not want to do because I want to stay with Mattea!  Anyway, so I went and bought some notebooks, but wouldn't you know that the minute I walked out of my building, it started raining.  I also got some turkey and hamburger meat. 

Nick had gone out as well, but when we were both home, we resumed our skype conversation.  When I made dinner, it was AH-MAZING...the meat was really good tonight, and the veggies were awesome!  I added potatoes to the mix again, and it is delicious!  When I finished dinner, I was talking to Nick and told him that I was going to go do Bible study.  A few minutes later, when I was really ready to hang up I said, "alright, I'm going to go hang out with Jesus."  His response, "okay, I'm going to go hang out with my chicken breasts!"  **He was going to cook dinner** Omg I could not stop laughing...I love when he does that...makes me laugh uncontrollably.  Bible study was good, and I even used my Italian Bible to read some of the scripture, but of course read it in English as well.  It was about living in the moment with God, and not always trying to read the future.  Leave it to God and He will take care of all things.  

I took a shower and got ready for bed.  Then I talked to Nick a bit on skype, but then I was able to talk to my momma, daddy, Coopy, Chili, Bella, and Litta GIrl on Skype.  Wicked never came to see me!  I saw the kitchen and it looks unbelievably good! I will be so excited to see it when it is finished!  

Then, I ended the night by talking to Nick on Skype, and we fell asleep with skype on...we're dorks...we get it!
